What is TakeYourTeam?

TakeYourTeam is a project by the company “Descoberta, cultura, ocio y educación” with the main objective of providing training and Team Building services to small and medium-sized businesses, entities, cooperatives, and other collectives where people are the driving force of their development. Descoberta’s expertise in training, citizen participation and dynamization, as well as cultural and leisure services management, is complemented by proposals from other specialized companies and individuals. This allows us to offer a wide and high-quality catalog of activities, courses, and spaces. This combination of proposals makes TakeYourTeam a project that will help you to strengthen and improve your team while enjoying a day that can be both fun and groundbreaking, bringing fresh air to the navigation of your company or entity.

THE FORMULAS

All proposals are made through “formulas” that adapt to each one's needs. However, if you want to tailor a formula, combine it with another activity, do it in an alternative space, or change its duration, we will surely find a solution. The formulas consist of stays where collective activities are carried out in unique spaces surrounded by nature. They can be one or two days long and can involve specific activities or a mix of different proposals. They are held in unique spaces and combine activities with accommodation and meals. Prices are given per person and may vary depending on the number of participants.

THE ACTIVITIES

These formulas are based on 4 types of activities:

  • Cohesion dynamics
  • Shared experiences
  • Social responsibility
  • Training actions

THE SPACES

We offer a wide and diverse range of spaces to develop the formulas, each with its unique characteristics and adapted to the activities carried out.

  • Colony houses: Simple, economical, large spaces in natural environments. Offer accommodation options.
  • Rural houses: Charming country houses with traditional elements and all the comforts. Offer accommodation options.
  • Farmhouses: Farms and country houses without accommodation where tasks related to organic farming and livestock, and the discovery of the natural environment are carried out.
  • Wineries: Vineyards where you can visit the vineyards and discover wine-making combined with other activities.
  • Activity-linked spaces: Equestrian centers, marinas, or other spaces where the activity is directly linked but also offers other services.
  • Other spaces: Unique places where TakeYourTeam formations and activities can be carried out.

Take your team and become stronger

TakeYourTeam activities are aimed at companies, administrations, or associations of any size. Participants are employees or collaborators. During a TakeYourTeam event, it is as interesting to bring together teams accustomed to working together as it is to bring together teams that only occasionally work together on specific projects. Therefore, it can be used for:

  • Teams working on the same projects with different roles.
  • Teams with the same function but in different workplaces.
  • Teams working on the same projects, with different roles but in different workplaces.
  • Teams working on the same projects but lacking personal connections due to high compartmentalization.
  • Teams from different companies or entities that must develop a joint task.

Contrary to popular belief, it is important to note that all groups working on joint projects can participate in these activities, and they are not only intended for certain types of large companies with highly hierarchical mechanics.

Why organize an event with TakeYourTeam?

The activities are created and designed around the following objectives:

  • Foster team spirit
  • Improve internal communication
  • Improve stress and risk management
  • Promote mutual help and solidarity
  • Retain employees
  • Make people adhere to and participate in the company's or entity's values
  • Encourage employees to go beyond their limits
  • Strengthen individual and collective motivation
  • Optimize teamwork
  • Spend a relaxing moment to clear the mind
  • Facilitate informal exchanges to get to know each other
  • Allow each person to express their skills
  • Get to know the rest of the team in a friendly context
  • Break work routines and dynamics with an experience in a different environment
  • Act to change and improve the environment collectively as well as individually

After a day, stay, or session with TakeYourTeam, employees are usually more motivated at work, know each other better, and learn from each other.

WHAT TYPE OF PROPOSALS WILL YOU FIND AT TakeYourTeam?

Cohesion dynamics: Group cohesion is the strength of the interpersonal connection existing between group members. These are activities of two or four hours that foster:

  • Teamwork
  • Joint reflection
  • Empathy
  • Improvement in conflict management
  • Communication and active listening
  • Knowledge of others
  • Acceptance of diversity
  • Group empowerment

Shared experiences: These are activities where an unknown or unique experience is lived and at the same time shared with other members of the same collective.

  • Cultural: Knowledge of the cultural and historical heritage of a territory or artistic practice in one of its formats.
  • Oenological and gastronomic: Activities that allow the discovery of the wine world or, through cooking learning, promote team cohesion.
  • Sports: Activities where through an individual or team sport, a place is discovered while promoting team spirit and healthy practice.
  • Nature: Activities of discovering natural spaces, enjoying the outdoors, learning from the environment, and reinforcing the concept of sustainability and respect for the environment.

Social responsibility: These are group activities that seek positive change in the context where they live through actions related to the sustainable development goals (SDGs), making social responsibility a joint effort between the company or entity and its members with the development of their CSR.

  • Sustainability and environmental actions: Actions that have a positive impact on the natural environment.
  • Social actions: Actions developed to improve people's well-being.

These can lead to improvements within the company's and its members' management, towards clients and suppliers, and obviously, in a general context, create positive impacts on the environment that will certainly benefit the companies that have carried out these actions.

The actions can be punctual or periodic, active or reflective, and part of an annual internal CSR plan of the company.

Team learning

“Team learning” or joint team training is a type of training for companies or entities carried out by a group at the same time and with the same content. They can be done by:

  • All members of the company or entity.
  • A specific department.
  • A group that develops a joint task or the same task but from different work centers.

This type of training aims to:

  • Improve people's competitiveness
  • Favor more aligned teamwork
  • Promote team cohesion

At TakeYourTeam, these types of training are carried out on very specific dates and in natural environments, motivating people to attend and participate, as it is a different and productive way to spend a day out with the team and later enjoy a meal with the rest of the colleagues.

What is subsidized training?

FUNDAE

Subsidized training is essentially a discount on social insurance in the form of a bonus.

This money that companies have available to use for their workers' training has previously been paid by the workers through their salaries and by the company through social security contributions for professional training. Therefore, what we will do is recover what companies and their workers have previously paid.

One of the great advantages of open training is the possibility of using the training credit available to all companies, partially or sometimes totally reducing the cost of the training activity.

How much training credit do companies have annually?

The annual training credit ranges from a minimum of €420 per year for companies with one employee to thousands of euros in large companies.

TAKEYOURTEAM MANAGES YOUR TRAINING CREDIT

You should know:

The credit assigned to companies is:

  • Companies with 1 to 9 employees: 100% of what was contributed the previous year for professional training. (Minimum assigned €420)
  • Companies with 10 to 49 employees: 75% of what was contributed the previous year for professional training
  • Companies with 50 to 249 employees: 60% of what was contributed the previous year for professional training
  • Companies with 250 or more employees: 50% of what was contributed the previous year for professional training.

Companies with fewer than 50 employees, if they notify the FUNDAE application before June 30, can save the unused credit for the following year and the next two years. If not notified, the unused credit is lost.

The maximum bonifiable cost (CMB) of each superior course is:

  • Number of course hours X €13 X Number of Participants = CMB

You must previously authorize us digitally on the FUNDAE application to confirm the assigned credit and manage the bonus.

Once we know the available credit and the number of participants, we will be able to communicate the final cost of the training activity.
